There must be a pill for it.

As expected, absolutely bugger-all around here: On one day it's all to the north; on the next, it's all to the south. How meaningless it is to lie slap, bang in the middle of the area of highest risk!😫

Yes, utterly frustrating.

But at least you've had something! I think I'm just going to say 'sod it!' and leave the windies wide-open all night. Should anything get wet, then so be it!😁

Yea the South East mate is a too big an area .. there's is the south east then there is Kent and Sussex we would have been better storm wise still stuck to Northern France or my case Belgium,I would like to see the bloke who let that bloody north sea through ...set like winter isn't it nothing hardly below m4 expecially the further south and east you go ...got tomorrow though lol 😆

Ps is the channel still like a mill pond ? Not that I know what a mill pond is any more ..dried up here  ..

OMG first mention of the "S" word 😄 and I got a 'book early for Christmas' email today 🙃

Fingers crossed we'll get some proper rain in the next few days - can't bare radar watching this time of year and watching what little wet stuff fall and evaporate 10 seconds later

Towers on Eastern extent went up within tea time, so atmosphere isn't short of energy, maybe there is quite a big capping in place keeping a lid on things or maybe the lapse-rates were doing a similar thing?

Given up wanting rain, at this point I’d settle for a breeze, from any direction, it’s so still and humid, the air smells stagnant! Looking at the radar and am envious of the areas under rain.

I don't want to freak you out, but there's a massive area of killer drizzle on its way.

I'd close all the windows and unplug your appliances just to be on the safe side...

Look at bloody Lincs FGS!

2nd storm of the day. could smell it before it hit. Not much rain but after about 15 booms it seemed to die.

But so nice to hear the thunder!

I was working in Medway today (Lordswood) on a Landscape project, Had torrential downpour at about Midday, lasted 10 minutes or so, then just a few drizzle outbreaks.....felt unusually nice beig soaking wet in a T-Shirt, Shorts and work boots, but the work boots soon filled up! 🙂

Smelling rain hit the ground, lovely!

I was working my self in Langton Green and I've never had to use a hydraulic breaker on a one and and a half tonne machine to dig a  metre for a soak away..or drainage, it was  like concrete ..but yea lovely ..if only for the  novelty:-) in normal soil that is

Is that the seventy-sixth rule of acquisition or the seventy-seventh? And, don't you dare declare Mornington Crescent!🤣
