Basically gone in Medway.

Bit of a washout all things considered.

Yeah, it all stems back unfortunately to the UKMO/UKV having a total shocker for today and having everything way too far south which then was reflected in short term forecasts that everyone sees.

Certainly on the north of the region it will be well worth watching though even there I'm not sure down to low level how well it will fare, but I think for our half of the region, we are done until maybe a small risk as the LP complex leaves.

Can you show us which are the lucky few please

Rain here but perishingly ❄

This snap shot shows the southern extent of the track of the low in recent model runs... I feel that we will all be back in the game before the week is out.  Amplification is shown and coupled with the 2nd wind reversal responsible for this first wintry outbreak, more cold and snow could be on the cards... 😳

Steady light snow for the past hour or so... I'm guessing that it's warmer uppers, rather than the time of day, that's making some southern areas see rain... 🤔

Could this still sink south? Potentially, I think it could 🤞

Light snow in St Ives (Cambs) for the majority of the day on site. Light rain towards lunchtime but now slightly heavier snow. Cameras at home in Peterborough show light snow but nothing settling at either location.

Pleased to see some of you have had at least a covering of snow overnight and this morning.

No such luck around Southend again though. Flakes falling but nothing at all settling. Still not had any settling snow this winter.

been snowing heavily here now for a good hour but its just melting as soon as it hits the ground.

Not a lot of snow left from last nights deluge sadly.

Might hold on to a few patches here and there, but I think come the morning it will be as if it never happened

Very light drizzle in St Albans right now, so the Current M/O forecast St Albans  looks way too good to be true!

Steady sleet since 1pm suddenly became really heavy snow for a good 10 minutes. Looked like the real deal then - argh - stopped abruptly!

It's been mostly rain here today with just a hint of sleet in heavier bursts. Can't complain really as had 1cm covering early this morning which I wasn't really expecting.

Light snow here for the past 30 mins after a morning of a wintry mix falling from the sky. No real intensity and nothing settling, although the temp and dew have dropped away. The radar looks a right mess of marginality!

Every now and then there's a little burst of snow. Just when it looks like getting a bit heavier it stops.
