Doesn't really look like a "second wave" this evening, it all kind of got moulded in to one.

An area of rain scooting through tonight, may even contain a rumble of thunder.

Could contain: Chart, Plot, Map, Outdoors, Nature, Sea, Water

Cr*ppy rain here at work in Segensworth.......but great to see all the pics and vids of all of you that still have snow...........nice one 👍.

Round 2 later?.........won't get anything here but hopefully folks with elevation will 😉☃️❄️

Finally the heavier stuff is lining up, this should drop temperatures and lie on wetter areas

A whopping 9.4c here on the edge of dartmoor. If the sun was out it would be a lovely spring day!!!

Alternated between heavy snow and light drizzle for a little while. Now just stopped altogether.

Dont think we’re getting anything later but Ian’s local forecast showed heavy showers so maybe something thundery instead!

That’s incredible festivalking! I can clearly see Dartmoor from just outside my village, this side of Exmoor on the Two Moors Way. To think you can have 8c difference in the same county and from Dartmoor to Exmoor.  Fascinating.  I know you are the other side of Dartmoor from me -  is there some kind of Fohn effect going on there today?

Now hit 10c! I just think its the milder air has encroached from the Atlantic. We have a ESE wind direction. Also we never really got that cold yesterday the lowest we got was 1.6 with a DP of 1.1. Just shows when it comes to competing air masses it really just does come down to small distances to have huge meteorological differences

One thing I have noticed; the majority of viewable models overestimated the precipitation by a long way.

Sleety rain here.. need to stop looking at the radar! Couple of hours ago looked like that was it for the day, an hour ago it looked like snow and poss heavy was coming, now it looks like just South Wales copping it! Maybe that blob off Cornwall will come…..

Wet snow here, sadly it looks like the heavier precipitation is over the channel and heading into the Midlands, was getting hopeful of a good dumping this Evening.

that’s all we have had here although didn’t expect anything different roll on next winter, this winter has been one of the worst! Although have to expect that living here 😂
