There are spots of rain trying to fall I can hear it on the conservatory roof.

Early rain, has given way to a very humid grey old day. Hints of brightness out there but I'm not sure there will be much sun, if any, before round 2 of the rain commences again.

Hoping for a decent weekend though for a change...

Horrid humid evening.  Currently dry, believe it or not!

A weird combination of summer humidity and tropical feel, with autumnal  dullness and darkness this evening… and for most of the day really.

Humid and cloudy all day apart from the briefest glimpse of the sun earlier. A bit of rain early in the day and again this evening. Reached 21.9°C

Cloudy start, but it should pick up soon.

Heading down to Poole in a bit, to see if we can spot the white tailed eagles and ospreys.

Raining here as I type, despite Met Office stating that there's less than a 10% chance of rain at the moment.

I suppose they technically aren't wrong, as they didn't say 0%

Morning All, well that was a "Storm in a teacup" for us in this part of the world, after Met Office warnings of heavy rain in the south of England we amassed a whole 1.4mm during the whole event, ah well moving on.

The warm overnight low of 16.8°C at: 06:05 has risen to 19.4°C, RH82% and a 10mph breeze in from the SW.

With a breezy aftermath of Betty, temperatures are struggling with a peak of 21.9°C at: 13:24, currently 20.6°C.

Irrespective the visitors are making the most of the beach

Both! Couldn't believe it.

Both at some distance, but they still count.

Got down to Ham Common early doors, but nothing doing, so spent the rest of the day at Arne with the Pros. Slotted right in.

Unusual as Ham common is usually a good spotting place, but Arne is a great place for a variety of wildlife, love it in the winter when its a bit quieter.

Yeah, we saw a Sand Lizard, Hobby, Spoonbill and a pair of Marsh Harriers. We'll definitely go again. Bargain for a fiver each.

The beautiful day has disappeared lol , really windy , cool and overcast . 

Temp 22.9 C , aRH 67 % Pressure 1017 mb . 

Still feel poorly so will be seeking medical advice as finished antibiotics and although a little better no where near right and in fact just 24 hours finishing I'm feeling unwell a bit like I was before the antibiotics. Could do with sitting put in the garden but not today .

SG: Well.....(pauses and thinks)....Like I felt before I spent £30 on the recent prescription drugs, OH and a lot poorer!

A&E person: Its not because England lost the football is it?

SG: No, I was feeling rough through all the earlier stages too

A&E person: Okay, so we've got your details, please take a seat.

SG: (8 hours later), 14 cups of free luke warm water, " I need to go home and feed the rabbits and chickens and hamsters, so I'll comeback tomorrow"

A&E person: The dept you need opens at 9am..take a paracetemol whenyou get home to help you sleep.

SG: Thanks and goodnight

Do you have a fever? I would go in if you do as it could be systematic and spreading. Or if you feel worse than you did. Otherrwise definitely tomorrow!!
