@*Stormforce~beka* wave to the camera if you're there....

The temperature here has already peaked at 29.7°C at: 11:39 , now  29.4°C with the inbound cloud (circled) it might kill Dirty Gertie opportunity down here.

Very weird feeling to the weather todah , its foggy , damp , but very clammy .

Had an horrendous night , 2 hours sleep due to heat / humidity .

Sun trying to poke through now but I'm not going to go out in it .

If I can a craft day today I think then try and relax more tomorrow.

I'm thinking similar. Craft on the sunbed in the shade!

Beautiful picture!❤️ Hope the sea stays calmer for anyone out on the water, it must be horrendous to drown at sea. 😔

Possibly a wise move...

Got a BBQ to go to later in Downton. Was going to walk, then get the bus while attempting not to end up a sweaty mess, but... Our lovely neighbour has just offered to drop us down there.

Will walk back after the Sun sets, but it should be fine by then. 🍻

Lots of different ideas there, with Devon and Cornwall looking potentially the place to be for some rainfall.

If it wasn't at 5am then I'd be tempted to drive to Devon to see if there are any light shows going on .

Temperature now 29.7C here , mid level instability cloud forming now  but sun still out .

Humidity gas dropped though down to 56% .

Edit to add 29.9C

Humidity drops as air warms even at a constant dew point. Hotter air can hold more water.

Yeah, we got offered a couple of tickets for that but couldn't go. Would've been a bit much today. 🥵

Thank you for posting that , I like learning about stuff like that.

Sun is really going for it now . 30.2 C. Too hot except to sit on sofa , watch rugby,  eat homegrown cucumber and relax .

Made lavender skin salve today and will do some mindful colouring .

Well and truly smashed 30c barrier here. 32.8c gives us the hottest day of the year. Luckily, tho our garden is SW facing,  we're surrounded by mature trees keeping the patio in shade for most of the day.

Down in Portsmouth for the weekend, and it’s been truly  glorious weather. Sat by water drinking a beer, it’s like being in Greece rather than the UK

23.8C hee humidity now up to 70% .

Been  a lovely day despite heat and have managed to do stuff as well .

There is a neighbour two doors down cutting a tree down because there's a wasp nest in it . I'm really worried about him as it really dangerous doing that  he could get very badly hurt. I've closed the  windows as I'm concerned about wasps going everywhere.

It's felt like a long week for me. I have really struggled with the heat. Had next to no sleep so looking forward to cooler weather too arrive.  Don't  get me wrong it has been nice seeing the sun out.  Hopefully  get a thunderstorm at some point but I'm not holding my breath. 😜

Me and heat don't do well either and like you I'd love a thunderstorm but I'm not sure whether it will kick off , but it being cooler sounds nice.
