A beefy downpour here just now. 114 mm/hr rain rate. Total is up to 24mm.

It ended up raining most of the evening, with quite a few heavy bursts. Currently at 38.2mm.

Good Morning All,

 

A glorious start to the day and some much needed sunshine.

In Plymouth this weekend. Had some absolutely torrential downpours yesterday evening. Bright and sunny today though so far thankfully.

Nice day today. Planted 200 crocus in the grass and dug half of the post holes for the new fence.

Turned the bonfire in first thing. It was still going.

The way it’s going in our garden we’re going to have daffodils in December!
 

Loads of shoots have appeared in a shaded area in the last few days joining the taller leaves in a sunny spot from a week or so earlier.

A fine dry day, so not to miss the opportunity,  some time walking around the Blackwater arboretum in the New Forest.

Believe it or not, there is a wooden bench seat just here! But I managed to hide it!

Went out for a drive in the countryside today, the leaves are still on the trees , but the colours are beautiful, golds, reds , pale green . 

There were heavy showers around so we were treated to some rainbows as well as beautiful views .

It's decidedly chilly this afternoon / evening  but it's been a beautiful day .

Back at home now. It seems to have been bright and sunny all day but tonight a Severn streamer has set up again so it’s absolutely pouring out there now.

Lovely day here too, though with the odd heavy shower thrown in making for yet another rainbow day but a lovely dog walk all the same. 

I’ve seen so many rainbows this year I can’t recall another year like it.

Morning All, a sunny fine start to the day after an overnight low of 4.1°C at: 07:26, currently 12.7°C, RH 78% with a light breeze in from the SW.

Cracking morning.

Had the Flood alert email and call for Cranborne Chase yesterday. The river is noticeably higher now and the meadows are starting to flood, but we're hopefully going to dry out a bit this week. Wednesday excluded.

5.5 hours of sunshine today. Temp managed 14.9°C.

Also had a sharp downpour earlier.
