Morning All, a sunny fine start to the day after an overnight low of 2.8°C at: 06:58, currently 12.7°C, RH 80% with a light breeze in from the SW, a classic autumn morning (apart from the lack of mist)

It did feel chilly last night so 2.8C would explain that.

I thought I felt cold at 5.2 , 2.8 is very chilly . 

Hefty showers this morning,  clear again now , another chilly night I suspect. 

9 hours and 23 mins of daylight here today, but the nights draw out again on the 17th December , but the mornings not until the 3rd or 4th of January.Not that I'm counting :-) .

Cooling off nicely with 7.8°C currently, just wondering how low it might get before the cloud and rain arrive. The cooler air has finally made the acers change colour, some weeks behind normal.

We had a frost on the grass this morning.

After that it was a decent day for the most  part. Managed to get out at lunchtime to finish my post holes in time for the timber arriving on Thursday.

Going to be a wet walk tomorrow morning.

Beautiful day here again so a great opportunity to take a stroll around Westonbirt Arboretum and see the gorgeous colours once more before they disappear for another year oh and it was my dogs 3rd birthday today

Morning All, seems as though we overused our sun allowance yesterday, so today we have ........rain, ah well c'est la vie. The overnight low of 5.3°C at: 00:41 didn't get much chance last night as the cloud rolled in fairly early, currently 13.1°C, RH97% and a gusty 18mph breeze in from the SW.

Grim today but at least the rain has stopped and a clearance is due. Earlier peak in temperature which is now falling.

Afternoon All,

 

This morning was damp but had just about stopped when I left for work, its still damp under foot but at least has stopped raining now. It seemed a lot milder this morning as well as I was over dressed, compared to last night anyway.

Got woken up several times by heavy rain early this morning. 20mm fell here.

It seemed like heavy rain kept pepping up right over this area. Monthly total at 104mm.

I've developed a really strong dislike of Brit Winters. Years ago i loved a cold one but not these days.

Painfully slow clearance of the frontal cloud. The rain stopped about 3 hours ago but only now can I see a clearance with watery sun just breaking through.

Yeah I get that, there is something about having some sun and warmth during the Winter so it doesn't feel quite as long. I really like the Canaries they are a perfect destination this time of year.
