Looks far too messy for us on the coast. Hopefully, more cells will spring in to life further north.

Was just about to set off to Salisbury, but looking at the latest run I'm not so sure now

We can't be this lucky again can we?

UK storm capital springs to mind

Not sure I'd pay much attention to the UKV, its not exactly done a great over the south east channel.

Why do I get an uneasy feeling this isn't going to work out?  I'm not going to call it a (unmentionable 4 letter word of total disappointment popular in this Forum) but...

I'm not feeling the potential over southern UK. A lot of the earlier unstable cumulus has vanished from here and I could be forgiven for thinking it is March.

I do hope I am wrong.  And as for a trough...ermmmm...

Ohhh....THAT trough.   Looks like it is pepping back up as it comes on shore. Estofex forecast for the UK is mostly for serious rainfall and squally gusts.  Not so sure about electrification (no...not Network Rail....)

Watching with interest.

Total accumalation by monday.

Other models with very similar totals if not very slightly less.

But not much talk of flooding?

Has anyone told that boat it is supposed to be in the water, and not hovering over it?

Stuff firing to the north west? Can just about make out the tops of the Swindon cell but there’s a lot of crud about.

I’m very concerned now. Complete wet mess in the channel. Surely nothing can just fire up from that?? I know midnight onwards is supposed to be the initiation time but that will not clear in time

Worth mentioning CW severe area was there mainly for rainfall, not lightning
