I'm doing my final preparations over here: Last minute camera charge, free up some storage, stop editing footage from yesterday, get radars active and charging my phone! This storm hopefully will go wild in Southampton - I'm ready for night 2 of storms!

A Timelapse film of the lightning storm last night. Sorry about the quality 😟! Hopefully some of you that did not see anything last night have a monster this evening or tonight.

Absolutely sod all: almost flat skies, bone dry ground and not a single blade of green grass to be seen. It's just like last year was -- storm warning after storm warning, and bugger all in the way of rain!🤔

Interesting that there's something to my North but nothing really to my south as of yet.

Just had ten minutes of biblical rain, black sky and lots of strikes. Clearing up now and rain has stopped.

the sky has gone yellow outside. its weird. and i think nation radio have got issues as they are playing the same song over and over.

Never mind "there's a thunderstorm coming", I just want to see "one drop of rain on my window pane".

The East is just total kack these days.

I feel your pain Ed. Admittedly been a little more luckier than you as had total of nearly 8mm so far since last Thursday but no storm activity to speak of yet.    Still waiting for the big one. ....just looking at the great pics and videos on here keeps me going...
