This thread is for discussing record breaking and abnormal weather events around the globe. If you wish to discuss climate change please head over to the Climate Change area rather than taking this thread off-topic. Thanks.

After keeping up to date on this thread and understanding that records are far more accessible these days.

Can anyone suggest what an earth it will take before either people or governments actually do something more serious than by 2030 this and 2040 that. The extremes for whatever reason and what ever you believe are multiplying rapidly.

It seems to me that a world wide action now may even be late.

Simply mind blowing how the outflow associated to the MCS which began off the SE Spain coast led to a boundary which a storm became rooted along certainly had supercellular appearances, this has dumped over 520MM in around 12 hours 🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴 particular bad area affected is ROQUEREDONDE

Hats off to the GEPS tho really pinpointed this region was likely to recieve flash flooding.

Living in the UK you just cant picture extremes like this.

Imagine getting over a meter of snow and then a few days later hitting 40C+. It blows the mind!

this is a bit disingenuous ..Brasilia for example is in the same region and to say its winter time..when the 2 hottest months of the year statistically are Sept and Oct
