A couple of decent flashes and booms now from the storm crossing the Severn bridges now. Nice of it to follow the highway code.

I'm just hanging out the washing,  so expect rain within the hour ....

Yes storm just to the south of me here in wgc giving a few loud cracks...then one to the north exploded into life...unfortunately i'm in the gap!!.

...this was the cloud that quickly developed into the storm to the north of me btw...

...wind getting up as they both move on but wonder whether there will be any back build...

Both pictures have had contrast edited due to brightness, haze and various cloud levels obstructing a clear view - the first picture, above the lamppost is of the cell from Bristol  
the 2nd Picture east of that Cell and fair bit more distance behind it - may'be bath ?

cells forming in a line and heading NW, I never pay attention to models this close in, just watch satellite and sferics.

I remember it well! I remember doing the whole sleep when the baby sleeps thing. I was most surprised to wake up from my nighttime sleep to find it was broad day light. Apparently I had a day nap and it wasn't bed time! I completely lost all sense of time - it was the weirdest feeloing ever!

2nd day running I'm on the edge of the huge storms and can see the anvil right in front of me yet remains sunny, hot and dry here as per ad infinitum.  St Neots is atrocious for storms - both the graveyard and the spawn site for everywhere else. I give up.
