Wow some fab pics and stuff in here tonight and didn't expect anything this evening,...and Ireland has had the best of the storms with funnels to boot,...great stuff to the start of the season,i had a cracking storm the other morning which made up the storm less few years hear although i have had some storms but not in the magnitude as that one

patiently waiting to see if there is more developments to my SW but looking to be dying out now,...will keep watching though.

Bright orange lightning  seen to my SSE a little while ago, cell now east of Leek, Staffs.  No thunder heard, saw more flashes than on lightning map and Blitzy.

Unironically the lightning when you add it on the Meteociel radar seems to be more correct to me to be honest. Though it's not showing a load at the moment. Only about 10 on it.

Saying that, it doesn't got that much further north than London that radar as its French radar I think. You've gotta add the lightning at the top but as long as you can translate the page or read French it's fairly simple.

3rd Sunday in a row for thunderstorms across the country? Would be some sort of a hat trick that.

Taking the 18z GFS at face value on what it shows right now, that really is some severe weather potential shown.

Got my drone up earlier and I think I caught a flash or two. It may go back and forth with sporadic lightning for a little while, but that’s probably it for now.

This June is becoming one to remember for storms especially around here, i cant remember so many storms in any June before even passing the stormy week in June 2020, and looking at the models could be more to come. Sunday is looking juicy. Lets see if it continues or upgrades.

Yes we've missed everything in this part of the country over the last few weeks. Even on the odd occasions we've been in a good place for them nothings happened.

Wasn’t it just! Like all the energy got expanded in one go! Just wish I had seen the lightning!

I know Andy I had exactly the same thought of you after the thunder happened! The lightning bolts must’ve been incredible. Certainly some CG, and probably some good crawlers as well.

I took these earlier today on the A69 in Northumberland. The first picture, the funnel was actually touching the ground with a clear form all the way to the ground. The picture is a couple of mins later when it had dissipated somewhat.

Morning everyone. 😊

Again, totally out of region for me; but the U.K. Meto have just issued another yellow thunderstorm warning, for today. 🌩️⛈️👍🏻

As I say, no use to me, but good luck to the other members of this forum in tbe highlighted areas. 👍🏻🌩️⛈️
