Storms and Convective discussion - July 2023

Not a super exciting storm day but this cloud caught my eye as it passed. The base is quite high but some interesting low dark parts

Is it possible that occluded front has come through early, just wondering where the heavy rain that came through today, came from?

Was just bigger than expected rather than coming through earlier.

Interesting skies about at the moment, looks like a clump of showers just to the south as the sun sets shortly.
