I think there’s a chance. I don’t care if it doesn’t happen anyway, we still have October which is basically summer these days lol

Mental 🤣

"We'll just go around that cell" they said.

I know it's pretty safe for them but jeez!

They flew right over my house before heading your way.  At first I thought it was thunder ⛈️

Can hear incoming thunder now from the Darlington cell.  Nice deep rumbles... not bad for here today,  hit from the west and now possibly from the south.  Can't complain!

Are there any signs of hope for more central areas? I see the odd strike on lightning radars to my south but there’s nothing on the rainfall radar.

Should we start to put a tornado watch in some of the areas because of the formation of a mesocyclone?

Awesome photos guys and thanks for sharing all these posts. The lightning activity would look mad if it was night time

Over 12,000 strikes recorded today so far.....and we have had a grand total of 0 here, despite being a severe warning area for dangerous lightning, heavy hail, torrential rain. I know we have a storm shield built over us but today takes the biscuit. Pretty much a copy and paste job, enjoy your multiple rounds of storms the areas hogging them.

I'm not bitter in the slightest 🤣
