I like Autumn like Weather in summer from  a North Easterly wind. It too fills my heart  with joy.

Good. We are all different 🙂

The thing is there isn’t any spring weather in January (well very rarely anyway). It’s usually either cold/cloudy/sunny/snowy or mild/cloudy/windy/raining. So the choice is pretty much either late autumn or winter conditions at this time of year. The next few days will be very cold (at least here anyway) but with plenty of sunshine, before by the weekend it turns much milder with temps into double figures, but also mostly cloudy, wet and windy.

We had quite a bit of snow here yesterday, with a high of around 2C. Today it is dry, with clear blue skies. Currently -2C with 84% humidity.

We could still get a Bartlett High, which is what I am hoping for...

Yorkshire hills got snow for those that missed it.  There was not much but there were slight signs if drifting in the wind.  The roads cleared today but you can see on these live feeds where wind has blown a modest amount back onto the roads. The road from Pickering to Whitby was closed for a while yesterday..

To be fair I think March 1st, 2018 managed that. I think it's the coldest spring day mean ever in the C.E.T.  Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think that was the last one, so coming up to 6 years since we had one on the CET series.

Just gave my mother a warning about potential dangerous winds on Sunday. She's in the north-west and though it's uncertain, some models showing some pretty gnarly winds on Sunday! Told her to stock up on candles as she lives in an exposed countryside location. Certainly will feel absolutely sweating next week compared to this week!

Ironically if you live near a river which has flooded in recent weeks / months, that's a very reassuring looking accumulated precip chart.

Down to 13 flood warnings and 62 alerts tonight.

And yet all that good work will be undone by the time the weekend is done.

We've seen the EXACT DATE that a WALL OF SNOW will BURY the UK and cause CHAOS

But, this is a new one

I am hoping you're referring to a wall of snow and not the headline!

A good call from Tamara 10 or so days ago.

True NLy for us with some of the deepest snow recorded for a very long time.

I really don't think this is the end of it this winter.

I think an SSW is imminent and the easterlies envitable.

Dry cold sunny Spring for NW Highlands I think.
