Power went out here for a few minutes. It’s pretty windy at the moment as I can hear the roar outside.

Electricity NW seems to be getting a huge numbers of faults reported.  Horrible night for climbing poles or moving fallen trees from wires or taking machinery over sodden ground. The places listed give an idea of the large area of damage.

Nothing really happening at the moment here, just breezy. Maybe it's too early to say but did think this would be more interesting! obviously lots of places in the UK are seeing some stormy weather.

That's not an xc weather observation you'll see very often. It's not too bad here - certainly windy but not the same reports as other parts of the country yet (and hopefully not.) Edit: I posted this then house has started ratting in a bit gust.

Looks like the wind direction is making the Lancs coast northwards to the lakes taking the full brunt of this

To be fair it has ramped up here (wasn't difficult to ramp it up as it was more of a stiff breeze) 

last 10 mins have been a little more exciting.

The wind has picked up as the evening has progressed, but nothing out of the ordinary, just a bit gusty out so far. It has definitely gone up a notch or two n the past few minutes.
