After a stunner of a day yesterday today has been pants with the improvement in the weather painfully slow with rain at times

A day where you see the clear weather in the channel on the satellite images being so close to the coast but it somehow just doesn’t make it. Even now the sun is very hazy. But it’s dry so I’ll take that.

*Stormforce~beka* Hope you’re ok! But don’t talk to me about ants! The blighters have found another route into our house after we blocked 2 tiny holes a year ago! Not seen one indoors for practically 12 months then got home on Saturday and they had somehow snuck into the kitchen!

Today is a hattrick of misty/foggy starts on my side of Warminster.

Warm, bright and muggy start but rain is not far off, currently over the Isle of Wight and headed this way.

Got my walk in before it kicks off in the next hour or so. Remains to be seen if that’s the last of the sun we see today.

To sum up the bank holiday weekend weather in one word mixed.

From the local rag:

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole from 12pm until 9pm this bank holiday Monday.

A spokesperson said: “Following morning rain, thunderstorms and heavy downpours may break out in some places this afternoon and evening.

OK, so its 10minutes past 12, and nothing, OR am I being unfair🤔

That rain moving from the East has nearly reached me now. Will it actually rain as forecast, or just fizzle out?

Sunny start to the day, but clouding over a little now. 40% thunderstorm risk. Fingers crossed for some 'sferics.

A slightly heavier spell of rain, but we again are in the gap of the heaviest rain area

Just been rained off from removing a load of turf, for a new bed.

It's coming down pretty heavily now. Checking the radar, it looks like we're done for the day now.

Still on the southside of anything heavy, rainfall wise:

It's quite nice out there at the mo, light rain, not the soaking type, having been out watering where needed.
