Sadly it's very faint here, night sight mode on my phone definitely picking up purple hues though.

Sadly didn’t see the aurora here. Looked out around 10.30pm and again around 3am. Annoyingly I have seen lots of photos on my Facebook feed that have been taken locally.

Couldn't see much last night, as the lights from Avonmouth ruin everything. Real shame as have a good northern view.

Heavy weather due tomorrow. I wonder if there is a small chance of any later today? There's a decent amount of humidity available but the lapse rates probably aren't strong enough (not checked).

Morning All, a nice sunny warm start to the day, after an overnight low that struggled to reach single digits of 9.4°C at: 05:30, currently 22.0°C, RH63% and a light breeze in from the E -SE.

From Above some patchy high cloud coming in from the SSW

On Golden sands still some hazy sea mist

 snowdog I missed out too. Totally gutted! I think you had to be outside to see it. I saw a thin veil of cloud outside in a ribbon and someone claime that was it and I would need night mode on my phone to see it. I don't have night mode

A couple more, even managed to get the Big Dipper/Plough in one.

OK come on help me out here, what am I missing, the yellow area still suggests thunderstorms, and yet the various models look clear at the moment, any thoughts/comments/suggestions?

Another lovely day and evening. 

OH has gone in to watch the euro singing thing, but it's still too nice out.

Just checked and the contrail is the SIA21 flight from New York to Singapore.

Heres a few photos i took last night . 
never expected to see this this far south with the naked eye. It was spectacular.

I went out again tonight, but absolutely nothing despite media and social media saying as long as you’ve got a clear skies you will see a lot again but I’m so grateful for what I did see it seems like a dream

Morning all, it is definitely the warmest morning of the week for me at 17°c already.  I have a headache this morning, unsure if it's a pressure one or am dehydrated
