Some very light flurries here in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire. Was suspecting that it might come as rain or sleet since the temperature had risen but it’s definitely snow and the wind is picking up a bit too.

Really? I'm just a bit further south than you and any lying snow is melting now and its a bit drizzly. It's washing the salt I had down on my path away lol.

It’s stopped now so will see how it falls in the next shower. I am about 100 metres above sea level so don’t know if that makes any difference.

Is there another band heading in ? All I can see is this low moving away. They must be expecting more or possibly just another poor  show from the met office. 🥸

Looks like there's a blob heading in but I wouldn't be confident it's snow here, maybe sleet.

No ice day at home, my station showing temp has risen to 0.3C with DP of -0.9c.

Nearest weather station to my work is showing current temp of 0.0c and DP of -2.6c. We have very fine grains/flakes falling lightly too so fingers crossed there’s something more substantial at home.

Ah ok, interesting. Well it's definitely raining here now , just came on quite heavily. Total bust for snow today.

Snowing in Aboyne. Light at the moment. Moving east. Might get a little top up from this during the next few hours.

Light snow on here now, not sure what to make of this band as it’s movement seems quite unusual.

Unsurprisingly given the reports from all around, it's now also started snowing very gently in Westhill too. Hypnotic stuff.

Cue an hour and more of "are we going to get sent home?". That's just from the staff, the school kids will be even worse.
