Looking pretty warm ahead with temps high teens/low twenties into the central belt and further north after we get the drizzle out of the way overnight. Sunday and into Sunday night looking interesting from a storm perspective.... but too far out at the moment to bother with the details for me.

What a difference a day makes when you add in sunshine at this time of year.

Grey and cool yesterday with a max of 10c, today max of 19c thanks to plenty of hazy sunshine.  Steady SW wind.

First sightings of swallows and house martins on Monday, nought seen since!

Mair Snaw Next you'll be moving into a wee place up at the Lecht ski centre as its 'an easier commute and closer to the kids schools' etc. 🙂

Lovely spring day here. It's finally sprung. About time tae!

Sort of weather related as the peat bog is boggy for a weather related reason...

This looks like some idiot decided to pile a load of rock on top of a bound together surfboard layer of heather/grass/moss underlain by a thick layer of slippery, wet and not bound together peat. The rock pile then rides the heather surfboard downhill!

No-one was hurt but work on the project has been suspended while the extent of the damage is investigated.

Early brightness here but soon dull cloudy with spots of rain with occasionally slightly heavier rain. Dryer this evening but wet now. One, just one swallow spotted on Monday. Looks like after a better weekend it goes a bit grotty again next week..

As above a fairly warm week with lots of growth.   Today quite thundery looking clouds and patchy blue sky

A few connective issues so not posting very much.  Hopefully a thing of the past in future  as poles being renewed on farm road in preparation for  fibre optic cable. Had noticed blue paint marks on local roads  also connected to their installation..

Much more like it. 22c with good spells of sunshine. Warmest day of the year. Much as I liked living in the East Neuk I don’t miss the sea breeze (16c in Anstruther at present).😀

Warmest day of the year at 24c.  A brisk southerly wind and good periods of sunshine.

Hopefully the clear skies continue overnight as looking good for the aurora.

Random photo of lovely blue sky 😉

Very pleasant, sat outside in t-shirt and shorts with a couple of beers and some pizza when I got home from work. Can't remember the last time we managed to do that. Tomorrow looking equally as good, then back downhill Sunday onwards?

21c here, warmest day of the year by a distance (well by 3c). Quite early for the first 20c + day, usually have to wait until the second half of May.

Looking like the chance of an amazing aurora tonight. I can just see it already to the north on my security camera in twilight. I've got the bright lights of Glasgow to my north so it should be something else later on in the dark time especially in favoured places!

Warmest day of the year here also for the third successive day. Max of 22.8C. Skies mostly clear so have been persuaded (forced) by my daughter who is visiting to head out to see the aurora in a short while. Was just looking forward to a wee dram too before heading off to bed😟

Out looking for  aurora just now have the fabulous red glow of the set sun to the north and above there is a hint of an aurora behind some patchy cloud Beautiful still  warm evening for observing  after all the miserable weather of the last seven months   Even managed some late evening dutch hoeing in garden

I wonder if it’s my imagination but I thought I could see a faint aurora looking east over Glasgow.

We appear to have a faint arc to the south or it may be a reflection of the arc to the north

Certainly an aurora there but partially hidden by patchy cloud
