interesting never seen this before as don’t use Snapchat

I used to have Snapchat but deleted it over 2 years ago now. However I only found out a few months ago that I can still access snapmaps without having an account and so to an extent that can be useful if you're looking at the right areas which have just had severe weather, people will tend to post updates or clips, especially in more populated areas!

Not sure if this has already been posted:

See current wind, weather, ocean, and pollution conditions, as forecast by supercomputers, on an interactive animated map. Updated every three hours.

Really shows the extent, very thankful this one tracked further north than Isha and Jocelyn!

Very interesting by Paul just now, who is very knowledgeable in the meteorology of mid latitude storms.

From Faroe Islands yesterday, 11:10 observations with 78mph and 81 mph wind speeds, which is Hurricane Force

I can't find the data link for the intense gusts. It seems that Faroe had the highest recorded gust from Ingunn? 155mph was mentioned

Norway had a gust of 63.2 ms  139mph  Sømna - Kvaløyfjellet

Where does this rank in storm strength to hit the area?

@CopernicusEU  #Ingunn is one of the strongest storms to hit #Norway in 30 years

Torsdag morgen slo ekstremværet Ingunn til og hele Lofoten har fått merket det ekstrem uværet. Torsdag morgen var det lenge helt stille før det plutselig braket løs.
