A glorious late winter's day; dry, blue skies - a day to get the bike out later and make the most of it. If only more of our days in winter were like this........

3ºC currently with broken skies and plenty of sunshine in between the clouds passing over...

No frost, but very fresh

7.5 °c, and as already said, it feels colder.  Just encountering a rain shower at Gatley, it started spitting in Withington, Manchester.  Some great cloud scapes today.

well flippin 'eck dry and bright (ish) again. Actually managed to reduce the jobs list. (a bit). Still expecting a dry and possibly cool March-occasional model support over recent days but looks like lots of uncertainty and flip-flopping.

Almost dry and sunny. Just  a rogue shower from across the Pennines about 30 minutes ago.

Amazing how much better you feel when that ball of fire is visible.

Had Worse yes, seen loads of sunshine these passed few days, real mood lifter.  Saw 3 new born tiny lambs today, near Mottram Hall Hotel, Prestbury.  They put a big smile on  my chops 🙂.

Another decent day with plenty of sunshine. Temp around average after a chilly start, reached 8.6C. Nearly three days without seeing any rain now. That's a novelty!

Gone 6 o'clock and there's still a little bit of light left. Yep we've got rid of those long dark Winter days now. Spring very much around the corner.

Dark Horse strangely enough I always use League Cup final weekend as the time when the later sunset is noticeable and with todays clear skies it’s certainly been the case.

same this morning, driving down the road at just after 6.30am and it was coming light.

as said, the long winter nights are behind us.

Soon be autumn 😅🤣

We wish for summer but by the time it arrives we’re so much closer to the days darkening again.

Looking like snow will fall to quite low levels by the end of the week🙃

There's still some interest for snow Friday. 😉

A decent day, bright, sunny spells, dry, chilly wind. A cold evening, frost developing.

Out on the fells today. Evidence the sun has bite to it now. No snow on west to south east aspects, a good cover on all other aspects though.

Rush2019 this morning GFS shows snow over the region, but only really accumulating over higher ground, may be some surprises though.

Plenty of talk of snow towards, and over the weekend and the charts look decent but I can’t see  the air being cold enough for anything other than over ground much higher than we all live.

maybe a bit of transient wet stuff but I just can’t see anything settling apart from on the highest tops.

happy to be proved wrong though although even snow at my altitude will be wasted on me as I’m in low level Manchester Saturday and Sunday.
