I want to plant more Strawberries this year. I have a 3x3 planter full of them but with the rate my kids eat them I need more! Any ideas on how I can plant/upscale more. I don't have enough pots so might need to buy more. Hmmm ...

A mucky day, but quite mild - the car was showing 15 degrees, but it was possibly just under that.

Same ground area but greater packing density.

2 days in a row with a wet morning followed by a dull drizzly afternoon. A far cry from Monday which was a welcome, if brief. respite from the gloom.

Weird really...statistics suggest that couples stop sending each other Valentine cards on average after 6 years.Obviously I'm just a romantic old fool lol

MP-R My car is fairly predictable out of the sun, it usually registers about 0.5-1.0 degree above what is the true temp. It reported 14 down in Portishead and 15 when I was up in Cribbs at lunchtime.

I need to replace my home weather station as it's conked out, which is why I'm always guessing the temp somewhat!

edit:

Horfield (Marty Hicks) reported 14.1 max today, and the Clevedon station reported 14.6. So not too bad for this time of year.

dr weather Yes Martyn Hicks’ sounds plausible in Bristol but I think that Clevedon one is questionable.

Tomorrow however I think could easily reach those heights if not more as long as it’s not as wet as today.

Was meant to dry until these evening, absolutely smashing it down now with some heavy showers that have popped up from no one, most some limited instability floating around in the milder air.

Having driven to and from Trowbridge this morning (as well as doing a few hours work) the sky is certainly fascinating.

Morning All, passing light shower just cruised through. The overnight low of 10.7°C at: 06:11 has eased slowly up to 13.1°C, RH90% with a light breeze in from the SE.

*Stormforce~beka* We are 20 years in so well past it then lol

We are 53years in, and ceased supporting these "special" days. At  this time of year bunches of daffodils means I remain to be fed and watered by my other half! The roses will arrive in the garden in a few months time.
