Yay!!!  Finally a sunny start to the day.  Chilly but sunny so I’ll take it.

Didn’t realise it got down to -4C locally this morning.

Lovely day out there so far. One of those days that doesn’t feel like winter anymore but not quite spring either.

Morning All, one outta three ain't bad, I'll take it, with a clear wall to wall blue and frost covering and no breeze...very nice. The overnight low of -1.9°C at: 06:48 has risen to 9.9°C, RH71% and light air movement from the S - SW.

Warmed up now.  About to tip 9c but the sun makes it feel much warmer than that.  You can definitely tell we are in Spring now with a strengthening sun, just a shame we rarely see it!

Not sure what’s gone wrong today?

Probably 90% of the available sunshine and very pleasant from 11.00-16.00!

Just had an alert and currently on the dark A46 in a lay-by. It’s my birthday today just once in my life show yourself Northern lights

We had a very faint glimpse of the northern lights earlier but it was a little too cloudy at the time, I didn't bother going back out later

 Mapantz that’s through the AuroraWatch UK app it’s really good trouble is when I get the Red alert that’s for the current moment in time, by the time i get up to the A46 lay-by the next hourly data was back to normal levels oh well always a next time

 *Stormforce~beka* thanks Beka but the minute i was set up in the lay-by the next data came in and went from Red back down to normal oh well

These were taken this evening in Knowlton, Dorset. 

Unfortunately cloud ruined the spectacle but I managed  to get a couple of brief time lapses in and the quality is not the best.  it still amazes me that we can see the aurora this far south.

Well that funny light in the sky made an appearance again today that's two days on the trot I am not sure what is going on.
