Doing a fencing job in this wind..  

Had a gust of 48mph earlier. Humidity down to 50% with this wind has dried everything up, which is good.

It's actually a nice day that feels like Spring for a change! I can see blue! I can honestly say I've not seen blue in weeks! Haze yes but that covers up blue. Ok it's still cloudy half but I'm trying to be positive here. We aren't allowed pure blue skies in Winchester!!

Some lovely skies today after the squall this morning, lots of hail streaks and anvils but we've avoided them all so far!

A few minutes of heavy rain this morning and a brief light shower this afternoon but otherwise it's been dry and largely sunny. Shame about the wind though which definitely spoilt things.

The first evening this year that I have noticed lingering twilight. It might have happened yesterday evening too but I didn’t think about it .

Morning All, now THIS is what I call a rare occurrence:

Not a shower around for a fair few miles and one cruised right over us, most unusual.

Meanwhile stats wise, the overnight low of 6.6°C at: 00:00, has risen to 10.6°C, RH78% and a light breeze in from the N.

 *Stormforce~beka* No, in the field that takes me to Downton in the mornings.

It's been flooded all year, then the farmer put the cows and calves in there, who promptly churned it up.  He's now moved them.

 Andy Bown It's 1600 now and the showers are still following the same NNW-SSE path. Been watching them all day. Almost unbroken sun through the day here in Portishead but probably a persistently showery day for those 15-20 miles to the east.

Only one shower today, and that was 30 minutes ago. 

Temp dropped over 5 degrees.

 dr weather yes I noticed that. There was a period between 09.00-13.00 with no/hardly any showers then they started again.

Morning All, a cooler night with the low of 4.2°C at: 04:39, currently 10.1°C, RH69% and a freshening breeze from the N - NW, under partly cloudy skies with a few clouds at an altitude of 2,800 ft and scattered clouds at an altitude of 3,500 ft.
