    Carol Kirkwoods BBC forecast showed SE corner getting snow showers on Saturday with Sunday's event mainly a SW affair with a massive rain band in the far west English Channel.. Bit rubbish for us on that forecast. We'll see.

    Morning all, glad to hear some of EA got some snow as you've missed out a bit in the last few days! Can anyone tell me the snow prospects fir West Kent today? I can't get on my pc and my iPhone is cack for streaming any radar sites! Thanks all.

    I know what you mean. I remember vividly January 87 on top of the North Downs (Wrotham Hill) and february 91 in the same place, just superb for a cold weather fan (in fact it's those winters that got me hooked). After 15 years or so of mild and damp winters with 1 day snow events (from falling to melting) this year is a revelation and maybe a sign of times ahead? Here's hoping!!! Edit to say that i posted this before the thread was locked and that's why it looks so mental.

    I think the band is sinking More STH'ly than SW'ly according to rain today.....You'll get it but our's is fizzling now.
