    Thinking back to feb 1991 when Ian MCcaskil forecast this the temp in the North Sea was only 5C currently it is twice that ( Source :- http://www.bsh.de/en/Marine_data/Observations/Sea_surface_temperatures/anom.jsp#SSTJ)

    Good Morning all Having lurked for nearly 4 years now I still find that my knowledge is sadly lacking enough to be able to comment on the models. I do have one one question over the evolving 06z. Is it me or does it seem strange that GFS does not seem to want to advect the cold air westwards from continental europe. In what seems identical synoptics from T-96 to T-120 GFS seems to get stuck in keeping the cold air in France?
