    Up to 23.1C here, and at least 2C hotter than everywhere else in the country, absolutely remarkable for Blackpool and completely unexpected is this heat and warmth! :o

    For UK storm footage, it's very impressive! Aren't microbursts more rare than Tornado's?

    I agree!!! It's June mate, all these storm chasing sending you loopy?! I know we've had a god awful month in most peoples opinions but a least a lot of us are seeing the month out on a high!

    I feel really bad for you to be honest, I've been with family today near Fleetwood and we had a lovely cell pass over at around 12:30. Thunder, lightening, gusty winds and then torrential rain. The raindrops were absolutely huge too, as big as I remember them being in Florida storms.

    Absolutely gorgeous outside now after that heavy burst of rain and hail around 45 minutes ago. Up to 21C already in a really warm S wind, I think we will exceed expectations today when it comes to temperatures.

    This just hit us in Blackpool. No thunder or lightening but I'm sure there was some hail with it!

    Coming up to 19C already, we've had two very intense bursts this morning, I'm sure the latter had some hail mixed in. Can't wait for this afternoon and evening!

    Can I just add, I don't believe for one second that the next two months will be below average. Of course, I'll eat my words if I'm wrong!

    The high pressure over Greenland seems to be falling! I would love nothing more than to have a nice two week heatwave; if only to prove that the Met Office and other companies have no idea what they're talking about since they're now going for a below average July! Charts looking quite good for next week when it comes to ECM and GFS, a definite step in the right direction.
