    Temp is slowly creeping up, 0.5c now. Can't see anything falling from the sky at the moment. 2-3cm of snow. How is this front going to intensify to give the south east 10-15cm of snow? Things usually fizzle out before it reaches eastern England hence why it's such a dry area. Very unusual if you ask me. Weather man John Hammond stated that he will not be going home tonight because of the snow in London. Get a grip man! 10-15cm is hardly record breaking. They don't half kick up a fuss.

    Temps are below what was forecast yesterday for midday today. Very positive. Also the met are changing warnings at last minute indicating that they're still not 100% sure

    Morning. We had a heavy shower which gave a covering. Think you'll be fine. The heavy stuff is not due till 15:00. I wouldn't plan to stay beyond 13:00 to be on the safe side.

    Snowing here! still -2.5c It's settling immediatly as you would expect with such a severe frost last night. Didn't expect it so early Just a shower by the looks of the radar.

    Model discussion & Snow Risk discussion is so SE centric. Most are pretty much dismissing snow risk west of Birmingham. Quite funny really. Posting charts for Sunday and not Saturday. Can't blame em. We're all a little guilty of IMBY'ism sometimes and there's a lot more of them Lets hope the bloody thing stalls in the right place!

    I remember that. He was out with his ruler measuring the snow and apologising at the same time.We did very well out of that front. Not sure why he feels he needs to make such a bold statement when news 24 are saying the weekend will be very interesting

    The dusting this morning has all but melted away. Clouds are clearing and the mountain looks nice and white. Snow line looks like 250 - 300m here for settled snow.

    Snowing here for the last hour. Covering on the cars and a little on the grass. It certainly didn't deliver here as I expected. oh well. There's always next time Outside chance something tomorrow but currently looking like south west england my get rain or a few flakes edit: moderate to heavy at 10:15. A good covering now.

    Latest news 24 forecast showed that the front will not make it as far east as earlier forecasts indicated. At the moment it looks I may struggle to get anything.
