  1. An overcast, damp and breezy morning here. A fairly uninspiring day ahead weather wise, probably remaining damp for most of daylight hours.
  2. Not a bad day today. One or two brief showers through the Cheshire Gap this morning through to lunchtime, but a fair amount of bright weather. Things have clouded in again now though. A high of 11.5C. I'm off to a fireworks display this evening followed by a Chinese takeaway and a few beers.
  3. The temperature bottomed out at 2.1C in the end here, enough for a ground frost. A lovely chilly and sunny start to the day.
  4. Lowest temperature of the day so far now, fallen to 2.4C and going down slowly. Probably another 20 minutes or so for temperatures to potentially drop a bit further.
  5. 3.6C here at the moment. Cars are iced over lightly. Minimum reached so far is 2.7C just before 03:00. Temperature has been a bit up and down, falling again now.
  6. A nice bright day today and definitely more of a chill in the air compared to of late. A more seasonal feel out. A chilly night to come with a decent chance of frost.
  7. Very little rain here today so far, just 0.5mm from a short period of moderate/heavy rain over the past 30 minutes. A little breezy so far, but nothing that significant wind wise here so far, just a bog standard autumnal day really.
  8. A cooler night than we have experienced for some time here, an overnight low of 4.9C. A case of the calm before the storm right now, very still outside.
  9. A wet start to the evening here with some heavy bursts of rain since around 18:00. The metoffice forecast for the northwest which was issued late afternoon states that it will be generally dry this evening, so it's obviously caught the professionals out a bit this one.
  10. Quite a lot of cloud around today, but it is dry. Breezy out. Mild again, currently 14.2C. Today will probably be the last of the very mild days for a while with temperatures trending down after today. It will certainly feel markedly cooler by the end of the week in comparison to recent temperatures we have experienced.
  11. A brief sharp shower was the sum of the rain here around lunchtime, then was bright at times but dry for the remainder of the day. Hints again of more settled, colder weather during the second half of November in the extended metoffice outlook. Mind you, that will probably have changed again by tomorrow.
  12. The early clouds moved away here around mid morning to leave an hour or so of sunshine. More clouds have been hot on their heels though as the band of showers are knocking on the door now. Looks like we will miss the most intense ones which are passing to our East and West.
  13. A dreary start here too and dry so far. Mild again, but a gradual downward trend in temperatures looking likely during this week so that it will just be 'mild' rather than 'very mild' by the end of the week, with very strong winds and periods of rain/showers at times. Could make for interesting fireworks displays...
  14. After a period of steady rain early on, it's remained overcast and a bit damp since. A few more pockets of rain incoming according to the radar. Hopefully some drier weather during this afternoon.
  15. An overcast start with moderate rain here, although there does look to be a likelihood that things will brighten up later in this part of the region at least. A 'mild' start, currently 11.6C.
  16. Some rain earlier on, but the sun has now broken through. Breezy, but feels pleasant in the sun.
  17. Maxed out at 17.2C here. A very mild evening out, currently 15.1C with clear periods. Yeah, the cloud was stubborn here too. We might have reached close to 20C if the clouds had broken earlier. However, the temperature still reached 17.2C despite all the cloud, well above the average.
  18. Overcast for most of today here with some light rain early on. Some breaks in the cloud have occured in the past hour with some brief glimpses of sun. Only a gentle wind and very mild.
  19. A damp start to the day here with light rain. Looks like things turning tropical this afternoon with temperatures possibly nudging 20C.
  20. The clearer interlude was short-lived here, now clouded in ahead of the advancing band of rain/showers.
  21. Just been out for a walk and a nice starry sky to start the day. Very mild out with a bit of a breeze, currently 13.9C.
  22. Another decent day today, sunny with light winds and very mild again. Just been for a walk and certainly no need for a coat.
