No heating has been used in our house yet. I'm actually finding it quite comfortable in the house right now, although I do feel comfortable at lower temps than many others. However, I suspect I will soon be losing the heating battle with others in my household lol! I will admit there has been a bit of a chilly feeling when getting up in the night on some occasions over the past couple of weeks, but I'm still within my comfort zone temperature wise without the need for heating. -
An overnight low of 4.1C here reached at 03:25, but I think clouds must have rolled in after that time with the temperature then rising. Currently 8.1C with a fair amount of cloud around.

Yes, a similar picture here today. After a glorious start, it clouded in for the afternoon, but we avoided all the showers and it stayed dry. A high of 15.8C. Temperature falling away now under clear skies with Jupiter standing out nicely in the sky. Currently 7.4C. Going to be a chilly night.

The rain set in here early afternoon and it's been fairly relentless since. Autumn has definitely arrived now.

Some sunshine this morning, but clouds rolled in during the day to leave things overcast for much of this afternoon. The temperature reached 19.2C early in the afternoon. The weather may be a bit of a snooze fest right now, but at least it has been another dry day. Rather different tomorrow though.

A pretty nondescript day today, mostly cloudy for the most part, although the sun did break through for a short period late afternoon. Very calm with little wind and warm out with a high of 19.6C . We are moving into the transitional period now, with significant convective opportunities beginning to wane and still a few weeks away from when we can start to look forward to potential chances of snow and decent frosts.

That's fair enough. I've been doing my best to avoid it to be honest, but certainly respect that others will feel differently I haven't cut my grass for months. It is very poor quality anyway and never really recovered at all from the summer drought. I will probably get away with not having to cut it again before next spring.

It ended up a really nice afternoon here in the end, with around 2 to 3 hours of sunshine. There was a huge sheet of black cloud to the East throughout, but we were far enough West here to retain the sunshine for the most part. However, it has now completely clouded in. It was quite pleasant sat in the sun. A respectable 18.7C was the maximum temperature.

The drizzle cleared away around lunchtime here and the clouds have now parted to leave a much brighter afternoon than I expected with the sun poking through, only around 50% cloud cover now.

Drizzle set in here an hour or so ago, which has now transitioned into that type of steady drizzly rain that gets you really soaked, the 'wet' kind of rain.

An overcast and damp start to the day here. Very still outside with little wind. Looking like being damp at times today, but I don't think the rain will be any more than nuisance value though. Getting out and about will definitely be preferable to avoid social media and TV for a few hours though.

We didn't escape with a dry day here, three moderate to heavy showers moved through during the afternoon. It's been mostly cloudy for much of the day, although the sun did make some short appearances this afternoon. Rather breezy as well.

Much less cool overnight compared to the previous night with an overnight low of 10.8C due to cloud cover. A cloudy start and looks dry out here so no evidence of any rain and no rain recorded on station. Looks like the drizzle/rain has all been just to the East of here so far, judging by the radar.

Another cracking day today, similar to yesterday. A high of 15.5C and breezy again. Clouds have now rolled in for the evening/night so not as chilly a night to come.

Calm and largely clear outside with just a few clouds. A great start to the day, currently 3C.

The breeze has largely died away here. Quite still out now with largely clear skies and just a few clouds around, glowing orange/pink from a cracking sunset. Should be a nice starry evening/night. If it can remain clear and the breeze stay away, the temperature should easily get a notch or two lower than last night.

A lovely day today with plenty of sunshine after a chillier start than previous days, min temp was 6.8C. Certainly the coolest feeling day in a long time today with the wind adding a bit of chill if standing around. Not cool enough for me to ditch shorts and t-shirt yet though. Just been out for an hour's bike ride and perfect conditions for a brisk ride.

The temperature has not got as low as I thought it might here, currently 8.1C. Perhaps there was more cloud cover in the night. A nice view of Jupiter in the Western sky though right now.

It turned into a brighter day today after a cloudy start with plenty of sunshine this afternoon. A chilly night to come tonight and perhaps the chance of a slight frost if skies can remain clear enough.

It stayed mostly cloudy here for much of today. The sun did try and break through a couple of hours ago but to no avail. Quite heavy cloud cover right now, so I shouldn't think it will get as cool as last night unless we get some significant breaks in the cloud.

Yes, darker mornings very noticeable now as days really start to shorten. A similar overnight low here, 8.3C, so a little cooler again than last night. However, min temp was reached around four hours ago. Cloudy now which has resulted in the temperature rising towards dawn, currently 11.6C.

A much nicer day today, early clouds cleared with plenty of sunshine throughout. A high of 18.4C. Fabulous sunset to end the day as well.
