I think if we do get anything (which I highly doubt) I think it will happen late afternoon, early evening. I'm almost 100% sure that will just be heavy rain though. -
Nah. Like I said, I will eat my hat if we get a storm this weekend.

I think maybe towards Isle Of Wight way but i'd be very surprised if South wales or the South east gets anything.

Looking at the sky and the radars, it really could do anything today. Well apart from snow obviously.

Lots of big fluffy cumulus here. could definitely turn to storms if the conditions remain right I reckon.

Of my current cats one is even remotely bothered except when there's a big bang and he jumps. the other one is terrified and hides under the bed. mind you he gets scared if someone so much as farts. One of our old cats who passed away enjoyed thunderstorms. He'd run around like mad before one came and would then sit on the window sill watching it and purring away.

I guess i reluctantly leave the club. We did have heavy rain and a couple of flashes with thunder come right over us. Would like to have left with a bit more of an exciting storm though.

I was an excited puppy, but was hoping for more on the lightening front, so ended up a little dissapointed. Guess I'm a spoilt brat!

Are you reporting this from home or work? Here we have had a couple of rumbles and one flash. I wouldn't go so far as to say it was a storm though.

It's looking very dark towards the Thames. MetO isn't forecasting thunderstorms here until 7pm.
