  1. I'm afraid not lol The chances fair better tomorrow, when the colder air has had time to set in.
  2. Wetbulb temperatures look to be too high for most down at lower levels. Even if that showery activity made it over here, I would expect it to be falling as rain.
  3. -6 uppers in to the region now.. Isotherm levels are still relatively high though.
  4. Probably in 1978 for me, Andy. ps: Nice to see this thread busy again. I don't like it when it's ghostly.
  5. The DWD ICON is actually a useful model. I use it in the Summer when thunderstorm events are within a 12 to 48 hours period - brownie points from me! I haven't used it for anything further ahead than that though.
  6. Nice one. Check the drop down: https://www.warehamwx.co.uk/cumulus/wuhistory/wuhistory.php
  7. Upper air temps now between -5 and -6 across the region. -6 to -7 creeping in to Wales from the NW.
  8. They'll eventually all be turning to snow through tonight and in to tomorrow. Upper temps are around -3 to -5 across our region, those temps will carry on falling making it more conducive for the showers to fall as snow.
  9. I wouldn't worry about the GFS now, follow the MetO. They will be using a blend of models, and MOGREPS - far superior to anything we have access to. The 12Z actually looks worse for those in the Midlands, as the colder uppers/dewpoints have shifted North.
  10. 10.2mm from yesterday's bits & pieces and today's rain. Winds gusted to 40mph, with a 21mph average. Cold frost has just gone through here.Temp did manage to get to 13.1 °C but falling away quickly now. I've noticed that the charts are beginning to flag up a lot of wet weather now.
  11. The wind has increased a bit more. Gust of 36mph just before midnight. Speed up to 18mph.
  12. I made a post about that last week. You can bet your life that if it has something to do with snow, it will not correct South. lol
  13. I'm just wondering why SM is saying that London is under -4 850's on the EPS mean at 96 hours? The mean charts I've had a look at, show London at between -1 and -2.
  14. Still.. nothing really excites me in the output for my locale. It looks as though rain totals may start increase for parts of the South though, after a dry November.
  15. Yes, the wind has certainly picked up now. Gusting to 28mph at the moment, and 10.4°C
