  1. Well.. you continue with your pig latin-posts. If you find that they start going missing in the model discussion thread, then you'll know why.
  2. It would be a whole lost easier if you explained properly, what is showing on the charts that you post. How on earth do you expect people to understand "Then you have little charlie large spuds-around-icelandic' rims" ? I tried to Google it, but my parental settings on my router flagged up some suspect material.
  3. I thought it was a quote from the domestos advert :O
  4. That's all from a single page. That maybe so, but does it stop you from typing in ridiculous riddles? None of it makes sense, even to those who's first language is English.
  5. Right click and save the image to your machine and then upload it (if you're on a pc/laptop) If you're using a mobile device, long press the image and then save it to your device, and then upload it.
  6. No frost here, a low of 1.4°C Started off sunny, now it has clouded over. A very uninspiring week of weather down here, that's why I don't particularly like Northerlies.
  7. I remember that very well! When I came downstairs that morning, I was greeted with a 2ft snow drift that had forced it's way through the back door. That was unfortunately the last great snowfall event here.
  8. A shower was extremely close here. I was willing it away! I have just done a load of concreting, so rain or hail was the last thing I needed. Thankfully it looks much quieter on the radar. Max temp of 8.8°C
  9. Still not managed to get down below zero. Forecasts show it not to make it below zero for the rest of the month.
  10. https://www.torchdirect.co.uk/olight-torches/olight-x7r-marauder-rechargeable-led-torch.html Up until a couple of months ago, it was the brightest production flashlight in the world. It's a flooder rather than a thrower, but it still throws 380m with an incredible wall of light.
  11. I have a new flashlight to use this Winter, IF we ever have a chance of seeing some flakes.
  12. The temperature seems to have bottomed out at 1.1°C. The forecast is for temps to rise before dawn, so the elusive sub-zero temperature is on hold. I've just looked back at some data, and I have recorded sub-zero temps every November, going back to 2010. Judging by the forecasts, It's possible that this will be the first November in 7 years that I don't make it.
  13. Down to 3.2°C here as well. Hoping for a sub-zero min by tomorrow morning. I'm well behind compared to last year!
  14. I could count the drops of rain we had last night, on one hand. Overcast and 7.8°C at the moment.
  15. A grand total of 1.2 mm from yesterday's rain! Sunny but windy now, gusting to 30mph. Temp: 11.9°C As for tonight's limp attempt at producing wintry precip, I thought i'd put up some various hi-res charts.. Arpege: Icon: Hirlam: EWN: NetWx-SR: Euro4: Not to be taken at face value, of course. They all show slightly different timings and positions of how far North the precip is. The MetO forecast just shows a few hours of light rain/drizzle here, so either way, nothing particularly exciting.
  16. I can't believe I missed all of that rainfall. Strange forces at work here, regarding precipitation.
  17. I've just noticed the drop in temperature since that rain arrived.. 2°C in ten minutes.
  18. Ah, some rain. It was a bit like someone chucked a bucket of water across the window, it was pretty much a start/stop affair.
