No frost here. A low of 2.8°C Sunny spells and 7.3°C Looks like a boring week of weather..

Something i've just found on my daily 'funny' gifs and vids routine.. It reminds me of looking for that holy grail for cold, in the models.

Please can I request that you show the full chart and not screenshots?! I can hardly see anything when i'm looking at these in the mod thread via a mobile device. It's quite easy - long press the image and save it to your phone.

We've had nothing but drizzle over the past 36 hours, not the heavy rain that was initially forecast. 8mm yesterday, and a further 3mm today. We've just had a heavy-ish shower too, with gusts up to 30mph. Wind chill now consistent on the graphs.. Temp did manage 9.7°C before showers. Temp: 8°C - Hum: 82% - Dew: 5.1°C - Bar: 1013.82hPa - Wind: W ~ N @ 7mph.

I know this isn't directly related, but I thought i'd add it as a follow up to my post above. Webcams have stopped showing on Wunderground.. again.. somebody received an email (which is a surprise in itself) from WU: That's another thing WU are doing away with. It won't be long before they stop station data being sent to them, I suspect.

In theory, they shouldn't, because those that enjoy that weather, should be outside enjoying it. However, in reality, you'll have two groups of people posting in the mod thread; One group looking for the breakdown, and one group taking no notice of what's occurring at the time, and looking in to FI for the next cold spell.

Got down to 0.8°C just before midnight - everything frosty & white. Temps started to rise thereafter, so it was a gloomy start this morning, but the sun is out now. Temp at 14.5°C

Even worse when both the Davis and Netatmo hit 0.0 at exactly the same time. I thought it might have made it below zero before midnight here, but it bottomed out at 0.8. The trusty recycling bins & shed roof are white with frost though.

I did have a frost a few days ago - temps got down to exactly 0.0° However, no sub-zero temps yet, compared to 3 in the first 8 days of November, last year. No single-figure maximum temperatures yet either.

Down to 3°C this morning. A very slow burner in terms of frosts this season. 3 sub-zero minima for the first 8 days of November last year. This year, none.

Forecast yesterday said outbreaks of rain through the night, then heavy in the morning until around lunchtime. No rain here, and it's not raining now, despite the forecast being changed to heavy rain through until 10pm.

Still waiting for this rain.. yesterday's forecast was a waste of time.

Here we are again.. people still using the 'screenshot' function on their phones to post a tiny picture of a chart, with no dates or timestamps. Come on folks, it's just as easy, if not easier to save the image you're looking at on your phone rather than doing a screenshot.

Both of my stations got down to exactly 0.0°C at 7:24am - unusual, as they are in different places. Lovely and sunny, temp peaked at 13.1°C - currently 12.6°C

In Poole at the moment, getting the Barnet cut and arguing over whether to go for a KFC or not?! Foggy until 11am back home. Nice and sunny here.

I suspect it's a problem WU's end. I have lost count of the problems I have had with them, every month there's an issue, whether it's the webcams or the station data. I just leave it now, i cannot be bothered to even investigate or solve the problem. Eventually it rectifies itself until the next time. As for getting a reply from WU, you have no hope. There's one person that deals with all inquiries by email, and they have backlogs of tens of thousands of questions/complaints. It wouldn't surprise me if WU will eventually stop all data being uploaded to their site - they have been slowly removing things over the past year. IBM who now own WU don't give two pips about end users. I don't know if it includes all countries, but I do know that they sell users data in the US. You're better off making your own site to view your data rather than relying on a third party site. The other alternative is to send your data to Weathercloud, it's far more stable.
