  1. Tuesday and Wednesday giving most of us a break from the unsettled conditions. Returning to unsettled conditions by Thursday.
  2. Had a feeling that the se coast yellow warning may have been wrong. The low pressure pushed the trough further east, just grazing the far se corner.
  3. Breezy, but certainly not bad. No showers either, but it's a sunny and warm day here.
  4. Gorgeous here. None of the doom and gloom that was forecasted, that's for sure! 8.8mm of rain in the past 24hrs, currently sunny spells and a temp of 17.4°C.
  5. There's warnings out for the next three days - south west, Wales, parts of northern England/northern Ireland and some southern counties.
  6. Drizzly here and a temp of 13°C Stuck between two areas of rain, although again .. the BBC faffed up the forecast here.
  7. I can tell you now .. it's pretty crazy here now the rain has come back. I've been out in it, and it's a concerning. The winds seem to be at quite a low level here, there's bound to be some kind of damage.
  8. Try being here then .. It's getting rough now. Some trees have been reported down, and some power outages.
  9. Very strange that. You must be right on the border between the heavy rain though. High PVA is tracking north east, so the rain band should start to pep up further inland. Just had 10 minutes of really heavy fine rain here as the main front passed, it's taken my total to 24.4mm now.
  10. Where abouts are you situated? The winds will pick up later today, damaging in the far south west. I've 23.2mm so far today, most of that has come in the last 3 hours.
  11. Windy with heavy rain, 16.6mm so far today. Expecting winds to pick up soon.
  12. Very wet here. 13mm so far today, 6.4mm int he last hour.
  13. Dry, warm and sunny all day here. At least i get the brunt of the winds tomorrow and Friday.
  14. Missed absolutely everything here today. Unbelieveable after looking back on the radar.
  15. Showers just starting to come in to view on the radar. Certainly a good chance of thunder during the heavy showers, but likely to be fast moving.
  16. Started raining at around 10:30am, some heavy pulses, and some heavy drizzle too. Currently 13mm, temp at 12.5°C
  17. Second night of a local beer festival was cancelled because of their incompetent forecasts. After 0.2mm of drizzle around 6:30pm, it stayed dry for the entire night.. some very unhappy people. Just 11C was progged for here just a few days ago, i'm currently in the warmest part of the country.
  18. After an epic fail of forecasting from the beeb and mo for last night, it's lovely here. Sunny spells at times, feeling quite warm at 16.6°C.
  19. I see two thirds of June being what i consider below par for this time of year, and then settling down in the last 10 days or so. It's going to be interesting how the models deal with the Beryl remnants in the coming days. ECM shows it being absorbed in to a stationary low out in the Atlantic and then splitting again as it trundles towards us. I'm sure it'll go a bit manic at times .. If it does push far enough east over the UK, it could well produce a few spin-off lows bringing plenty of rain to some areas. I wouldn't quite think a long the lines of April just gone, but it certainly could be a very wet month for some folk, going by a few of the outputs.
