  2. Which makes him wrong to begin with! let alone the overhyped nonsense the video goes on to produce, there is being realistic and there is being madden-esque, preidciting the next ice age and skating on the thames
  3. Currently 12.2c. Wind 4mph SSW. Sunny Spells, some cloud. Earlier heavy showers have now passed, leaving it cool and today's total rainfall to date is 4.7mm
  4. Clearer spells now, temp at 12c. It will soon drop. Gonna be a chilly night ahead.
  5. Oh dear. How anyone can believe this tripe i do not know.. Making Madden sound like GP, and that is saying something lol
  6. Wind really picked up here, from barely anything to 20mph gusts....
  7. Skies look threatening here, had heavy downpours since midday here. Edit- Hammering down again and skies look ominious ( thunder and lightning please? )
  8. http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=lightning;sess= A quiet day for lightning strikes, off the SW coast it is livelier with some strikes here as the netweather lightning detector shows!
  9. Drizzly outbreaks on/off in the last hour or so, visibility poor and breeze started to pick up. 14c at 3pm is dreadful compared to 29c we had this time yesterday.. arrivderci summer :/
  10. Agreed. Looks like a strong signals for High to the West & North with us under a easterly flow. Thats what some of the CFS runs have been sowing lately for a while, obviously there has been runs where it looks milder. Still early days yet!
  11. Dry here now. Dreary and cloudy with 14c.. A shock to the system for many this morning. Had 4.5mm of rain overnight.
  12. Its lively out in the Channel. Very heavy thundery rain moving up from Brest!
  13. After a resh misty start to the day, it soon cleared and clear blue skies for much of the day, late afternoon some fair weather cloud bubbled up with cumulus clouds developing around sunset. Wind currently 4mph NNW, todays high was 29.3c. Currently 16c and dropping fast!
  14. Hi Guys. Looking like a high pressure return towards end of next week which would be welcome relief for those attending the Southern Model Airshow & Headcorn Balloon meet at Headcorn Aerodrome. I have been partly organising the balloon side (40 balloons coming!) of the event with my friend and I am just letting you all know that your welcome to come along and we could have a meet up, if anyone is interested please let me know and will get you some passes for the event! - www.headcornaerodromeballoonevent.weebly.com ( Maybe a mini Netweather Regional meet up ) In other news. Clouding over here and my rain alarm is showing Precipitation 20 miles away, and so it begins... Temp now 18c.
  15. after glorious day with temperatures at 29 degrees for some. Tomorrow will feel fresh highs of 16c Thats a steep drop!
  16. We peaked at 28.8c here today. Another scorcher of a day, what a summer!
  17. Worth noting with *potential* for 10c down for some places come next week as you alluded to, would still be around average if not above average. 17-19C isn't bad for september and in any light winds and long sunny spells will feel very pleasant!
  18. What a summer it has been! Any unsettled weather has been brief. Many areas round here are suffering from having hardly any rain. Sunshine amounts well above average and temperatures have seemed warm for months now. What a contrast from recent summers aye
  19. Gorgeous sunset this evening, pink and orangey with beautiful cloud formations aswell. Anyone else see it? Didn't manage to get any photos due to phone being on charge.
  20. Generally we would see a undercutting low from charts such as this if they come to fruition. As the low pressure comes in off the Atlantic with cold air entrenched over us, we would see winds from the SE/Easterly corner so would mean good ingredients for snowfall where the boundary sets up. So these charts at the moment look good if you like scenarios like this!
  21. What a glorious day here. 20c with NW 12mph wind. Clear skies and feelng fresh too. Lurverly!
  22. 2006- An extended summer spell 2008- High pressure dominated much of the month.
  23. Something for the coldies to drool over, only another 128 days to go or something!
