Yep night all

Apart from the obvious risk of venturing out, I didn't take any risks, keeping the balance of embracing this amazing weather and respecting it at the same time is always top of my mind. Strong beast is Mother Nature

I'm back from my adventures, let me tell you that it is very dicey here on the Dirset coast, I'll endeavor to get pics and vids up tomorrow at some stage. Waves splashing over the walls at sandbanks, debris everywhere, branches, big ones already down, flooding is widespread, photos to support that also. I got out of my truck a few times and was struggling to stay on my feet, the wind appeared from nowhere. Regardless of what this storm did or didn't turn out to be, I've not felt wind like that for quite some time. In my location I can confirm there's a storm going on!! There will certainly be trees down. Safely back in my house now! No idea where the storm is centred currently as I've been out the loop for 2 hours? What have the max gusts been in the region so far?

All this rain won't help the trees when/if the wind really kicks in

hmm, there is a scaffold that is covered in that white cloth at Sandbanks and it was ripping when I went down earlier this afternoon, I cant see it surviving the night! I'll find out soon as I'm heading down that way. I for one, will be keeping my distance from the Sea, NOT to be messed with ever in stormy conditions! Pressure dropping fast here, 990mb now. 25.7mm of rain so far today.

Yes I'm up to 15.5 now and rate is 24mm/hr

I've received 10.7mm of rain today so far, now at a rate of 7.8mm p/hr. Pressure at 998 and dropping. temp 12.2C Upton, Poole Rain has really started pouring down now, that hourly rate will fly up in a minute. I can see me getting 25mm at least this evening.

LOL I was honestly tyring to be helpful as I had a nightmare with my Barometer readings at 1st. That did made me laugh though, I guess it did come across a bit check me out, unintentional sorry
