    Why won't these papers actually pay money to decent weather forecasters? There are plenty of them, Matt Hugo for example? Instead they have some complete donut, who 999 times out of a thousand is wrong!! The law of averages say he will get it right eventually, where do I send my CV to?

    Looking forward to the ECM, short term seems to be sorted now, just need to get some agreement from say +96 onward, that's where my attention will be on this run.

    Still beautiful blue sky here, bit of cloud in the distance, nothing of note. Currently 9.8C after a low of 0.2C Looking forward to some more penetrating frosts next week!! Anything more will be a bonus

    I would really like my 1000th post to be on a snow day!! if it's next week and catches me by surprise, expect some really random post leading up to the event apologies in advance Stunning start so far on the South Coast of Dorset, not a cloud in the sky atm made it down to 0.2C early this morning, nice frost.

    not liking the look of the GFS short term, -4/-7 uppers with us for 24 hours from Tuesday - Wednesday morning. Concentration now for me is further down the line. Could really do with the Continent cooling down especially if we are to benefit from an easterly, which IMBY is the only way I'm going to see white stuff falling from the sky! North/North Westerlies are not good, the Dorset snow dome will take shape in those set-ups!

    Got down to 1.3C, nice frost and I will be needing my scraper for the first time this year. Looks like it got down to -2 at Bournemouth Airport, but it is very prone to harder frosts.

    Just a few miles down the road 52.8mm for November so far. Only 5.2mm IMBY today

    down to 3.2C, Pressure beginning to drop and Radar picking up out west, I think 3.2C will be the lowest temp now as cloud rolls in. (IMBY) Nice all the same!

    There's a joke there somewhere I'm sure of it, but I'll leave that!! It was left of the setting sun for sure, So it may of been Venus? Cool. I'm no good with my planets, I'm just glad it wasn't Uranus..... I'll get my coat.....

    it is feeling cold out there, definitely a different feel to the weather. Just 4.2C at the moment Pressure 999mb Did any one see a really bright light as the sun was going down this evening to the South, I drive the same way everyday and have never seen it before, certainly to big to be a star, was just wondering if anyone knew what it was or saw it?

    18.1mm of rain fell in total from that system, could see the totals rack up this week looking at the models. Chilly morning 6.1C
