Today is nothing more than a Brucie Bonus for this part of the West Midlands. We've been lucky (around Dudley) for snow so far this winter. Hope the whole of Brum and the East Midlands finally get a good dumping today for all the events they've missed out on.

The level of impatience on here is only matched by that which I also see on football forums. Problem with the internet and social media, I suppose. Some of the posts over on the model thread today have been ridiculous with several people (seemingly) writing off winter. I stained glass windowin' despair.

It is bedwetting when some over there are already writing off the rest of the winter. Pathetic.

The trolling and over-reaction by some over on the model thread is ridiculous. Some clearly on a wind up and others just reacting and throwing toys out of the pram. It's the calm, subjective one's over there that I tend to pay attention to.
Anyway, wait for the 12z first and we'll see where we are then.

Met Office has my area of the Midlands down for 5 hours of light snow this evening. We'll see. Regardless, been a good week so no complaints from me either way.

Well, in this part of the West Midlands (near Dudley) we've been spoilt rotten this week. Snowing again today albeit lightly, but compared to the last couple of years or so this has been brilliant.

About 2 inches here in Netherton (Dudley). Again, drips outside but this a Brucie Bonus and hopefully only the start of something more significant.
