    Yeah, I think I messaged 1 frame too early. Some places look to have snow for close on 24 hours - pinch of salt at this time frame but I’m sure the METO are watching this one closely

    Main Precip/snow band a little further east again, not a good trend if it keeps going!! A decent fall possible for those in the East though What is also noticeable is the stall in the front, this could be a prolonged snowfall for some - best location still to be worked out , and of course a little early to be sure of anything just yet.

    Mean precip charts for Thurs, snow likely for some but as we know it won’t be till Tue before we know where and when - hopefully later in an afternoon so it freezes White rather than a slushy mess

    Yep, plenty of snow about from Thurs to Sunday at least . That weather front on Thurs being the one to watch, if it’s still showing by tomorrow night I think you’d start hearing about it on the weather forecasts Then major cold reload beyond that with a proper Greenland high - could be a prolonged cold spell this

    Forecast 2m temps for 1300 next Thurs are certainly very cold , with a max of 2 c for many And -10c in northern England Thurs night

    First week of April last year had the whole U.K. in -8/-10c uppers - I think daytime temps were between 0-4c so winter can certainly bite at this time of the year.

    ECM sticks to its cold guns, actually quite a prolonged spell of cold with frosts (poss severe) and snow for many . Interesting but still need GFS on board.

    Probably wrong knowing the winter so far, but that’s v v cold for late the very end of March And snowing for everyone in the U.K.

    Certainly a cold upgrade this morning from the GFS and ECM for next week, ecm would certainly have some snow for many Day 8 and much of the U.K. looks like it would see snow showers or a covering and I dare say the coldest night for the U.K. as a whole this year.

    Day 8 still pretty cold on the latest ECM, probably cold enough for some snow showers for some. A covering and snow showers for most by the looks of this run.

    GFS jumps on board the in a big way, this could be a really cold spell on this run.

    A cold ECM beyond day 7, and some snow with the sweet spot being right on my house if only!! To be fair I’m ready for summer after the taster this week.
