    12Z GFS uppers from Thurs 29th are pants! I need dark blue thicknesses (518) and -10 uppers at least for snow off a northerly, long way off yet, so hopefully chances of upgrades

    the 06Z is absolute pants for the south, especially from 30th Jan to 2nd Feb, screams rain, I would rather have a bartlett than windy NW wind and 5C rain

    Surprised at Aberdeen, no way I would write a winter month off there! one of snowiest places would say also first week of Feb, no cold and snow for low levels in the south

    I wrote off January for meaningful snow and cold for low levels south around Xmas Eve, was I right to? all I've seen this Jan is 2 dustings on 2 Tuesday evenings 13th and 20th, not sure if anyone else in the south under 150m asl has had more? anyone not seen a flake this Jan?

    sleet here, temp dropped fairly fast, not been a bad day either, no rain since around 9am, mostly dry

    no more snow for the foreseeable future for us members at low levels, completely back to square 1, flat charts in GFS FI, only hope of cold being damned MJO, teleconnections crap! been there before, I'll believe the cold and snow when it's on my doorstep

    cannot see any low level snow surviving friday's fairly big mild sector, say under 200m, I'd expect full thaw

    Folks, there was never going to be much if anything at low levels, was always going to be a 300m+ setup, as we had no real cold in place I did see a good heavy flurry last night, was only going to be leading edge snow before the milder air moved in 0n models, cold shot possible late next week 30th, but looks like a high level snow setup again

    well yes, as there never was any real cold air, it was only a pants PM airstream, not cold at all really, just brought a bit of rain Sunday PM we need a true cold airstream with a greeny high
