    Did have a snow shower,back end of last cold spell but would love to see some more. Sunday looks like my best chance.

    Hmm,not so sure this morning,still nothing on my local forecast,BBC spotlight has 6 degrees on friday and carol kirkwood saying next week won't be as cold! Garden paths and being led up one,spring to mind. Can see this cold spell coming to nothing,hope i'm wrong.

    Hi mate. Yep,def more interested in this cold spell than the last,never really stood a chance with those slider thingy's. Did you get a snow shower last week? Briefly turned white here,was great to see snowflakes again.

    Still no sign of anything wintry in my local BBC forecast. Gives a high of 7 and min of 5 with rain showers,on Thurs. Think it might take time for the really cold air to reach this far south,more interested in next weekend for any sign of the white stuff. Can do well in these set ups. Wishbone effect works well here,dangler's and all that.

    Rain,on and off all night. Broken cloud now with some sun,strong S/SSE wind making it feel cold. The snow shower of yesterday morning is but a distant memory now. Game over for me now but hope some of you up the line get a surprise later.

    Time to through in the towel for this cold spell at least. Always was going to be very if'y anyway(especially right down here) with so much atlantic influence in proceedings. Will that be it for this year???? Hope not but time is running out for us in the extreme south,spring is coming

    Agree,these slider's nearly always mean rain for here. It's channel low or no show for here usually.

    IF is a very big word. 1987 aside,they rarely come off. Either a bit far north or as in march 2013,a bit far south. 9 times out of 10, an east wind brings naught but what if's i'm afraid.
