    Oh dear,it's looking like a foggy one.

    Spent 3 months in Canada many years ago trapping black bears and spent most of that time trying to avoid mosquitoes,black flies,and a type of fly whose name alludes me but which could bite the hell out of you.Like a horse fly on steroids. I'll take a few pesky wasps anyday. Has anyone been stung by a hornet?

    Can say that iv'e never been stung by a queen wasp. When you see one,their just looking for a home. Look,if i see a wasp i'll usually try to zap it,just feel that to kill the queen's, isn't quite cricket.

    I know what you mean,dont like them either. Suppose everything has it's place and all that and i do try not to kill the queen's you see at this time of year. Kill a queen and that's a whole colony gone.

    No thank goodness. Quite nice here although fairly overcast with just peeps of the sun. Warmer feel to things aswell.Good growing weather.

    Probably pretty much on my own in here,but i dont like the sound of those east winds. Much more of those and a few of us fishermen will be joining the doll Q.

    Not the best of days,it has to be said,especially after such a good fri/sat. Drizzle started about 9:30 this morning and hasn't stopped since.A lot of low cloud and misty,murk aswell. At least it's mild.

    Think GLTW beat me to it,but i saw my first swallow today. Nice to have lost that east wind at long,long last. Cant tell you what a difference that makes to our weather. Looking like a nice weekend coming,weather looking good and wife of to london to watch marathon What more can a husband want. Round of golf anyone?

    Another nice looking day,clear blue skies.Still this cold east wind spoiling things. Looking more likely now to see a big change in the weather next week.Issue is,how much of the wet stuff comes with it. Couple of months of wind and rain anyone??
