  1. They say she smokes about 40 a day, hence the husky voice.
  2. Yes, true that. I ve just got back from Kiev last week and there was lots of snow there. And they are having their coldest start to winter in years.
  3. We are not alone in the bland groundhog day world of the limpet high pressure.
  4. Anyone remember such a lengthy period of bland pointless tedious weather? I certainly can't. Zzzzzzzzzz.
  5. 9c and cloudy. Feels milder. Winter certainly passing us by. Shame really, and made worse given the boring tediousness of whats on offer for the foreseeable.
  6. Hope it goes well mate. Yes, keep posting about the weather in Czech Republic. We need something to relieve the unbridled tedium that is the London weather just now.
  7. Possibly one of the most boring outlooks for mid winter EVER!!
  8. Haven't had a look but would have thought they'd be happy as. They spend 8 months of the year looking for high pressure?? Well it's been here for an age and will be here for an age so what are they moaning about.
  9. Left a cold snowy Kiev yesterday evening, now back to the grey London. It appears like the weather has been boringly quiet here. That's high pressure in winter for you. We'll it's what alot of folk on Netweather want.
  10. It's turned out a bit snowy again in Kiev today. Not as cold as yesterday. Its a great city, well worth a visit.
  11. Greetings from a cold snowy Kiev. -5 just now.
  12. Happy Christmas to all the SE folk from a very cold snowy Kiev. Hope everyone had a good one.
  13. That might be a bit tricky mate. Though I dare say the divine beings on the MAD thread could have a go.
  14. Interesting piece again Tom. Cheers. I wonder how many folk even at this late stage would bet on a white Christmas in London? Surely people are not that stupid?!! Then again..... /:
  15. Wow! 13.8c at 07.30. 8mm of rain in the night. Hunt for cold? Hunt for my t-shirt more like.
  16. Ahhh bless them. They do get ruffled. I seem to remember that 10 days ago we were supposed to be freezing cold now according to the models and their hocus pocus. Would check if I could be harrised. Who knows what the weather will be like in 10 days.... Even the Met are saying they haven't a clue. More or less. Sunny and 11c in the capital.
  17. I haven't had a look in there in a while, been rather sozzled since late pm yesterday, Christmas works 'party'. Is there much coffee snow sniffing and block building? 7c and sunny in Wimbledon right now. Its even difficult getting a frost this winter never mind snow!
  18. 12c in South London just now. Bonkers temperature for a December morning at 6.30am.
  19. Yes, the MET are certainly going for it now. They tracked last Feb/March cold spell from way way out(with a few blips on the way that had folk despairing) but we got there in the end. Looking good for end of the month onwards.
  20. So it's not going to snow then. No surprises there. I'm off to Kiev for 5 days over Christmas. Forecast is for - 6c and 'low blowing snow'. They have had a shed load of snow there in the last few days. Will beat a drizzly 11c London.....
  21. Yes indeedy. Thoroughly enjoying this unsettled spell, rain one day, sunny the next, showery next etc etc. Fresh. One great thing about not minding wet windy changeable weather is that I'm rarely disappointed.
