  1. Don't let them hear you say that on the MAD thread, you ll be banned!
  2. Very interesting that. Russians have been doing that for a while. Its amazing the stories like, that that get lost in the fog of Brexit.
  3. I can report its Sunny Dry and Warm in SW19. 23.8c. Oh wait....i ve been saying that since June 2nd!! Zzzzzzz. Wake me up when we get some real weather.
  4. This weather can do one now. Its the repetitive boredom of it gets me being a weather enthusiast. I like all types of weather but having the same almost identical stuff day in day out since June 2nd is boring now,and not even a decent storm! However,as many have said'humidity hasnt been too bad.I forget what green grass looks like, my tomotoes are shrivelled and my spuds are tiny. And getting fed up of looking at corned beef legs on the tube!
  5. Hopefully this boring hot spell will be over soon. Would be nice to have a few weeks or a month of raging showery westerlies, lead us nicely into Autumn. The tedious relentless monotony of this is unbelievable. Not even the prospect of a good storm.
  6. What? Its not showing 40c for them on there?? Bless.
  7. Now then. Not even a shower being forecast now for the foreseeable never mind any meaningful rain. Bit cooler this morning 18.3c but sun blazing down stronger than ever.
  8. Did you get much rain in the end? Not a drop down here in Wimbledon but I could hear the thunder in the distance and the clouds looked pretty nasty!
  9. I think he's just expressing his opinion that where he lives may need some rain. Just because he isnt bowing in front of the alter of sun worshiping so called weather enthusiasts doesn't mean he can't have an opinion. Alot of that going on here. Weird little site this lately.
  10. In other words interesting weather that we can get excited about as weather enthusiasts. It's really strange why so so many folk on a weather website hanker after the same weather week after week after week. Very weird.
  11. They used to say that yes. They were a blinking nuisance this evening!! Could be few rumbles about tommorow. And possibly Friday though Kent Sussex way more likely according to Met 10 day video. He also said there is a 'possiblity' of some really serious heat late next week. Personally,i can do without that!!
  12. Seen that blob on radar just sitting over north london for ages. Looked quite intense too. Nice to be able to talk about proper weather for a change.
  13. Just had a fairly decent shower here in sw19,wet the ground but dry again already. Was nice getting wet again from rain and not sweat for a change.
  14. Some idiot "heatwave" obsessed telegraph journalist going on about how dry its going to be in Glastonbury this year. It isnt even on! Everyone needs to calm down a bit.
  15. Yes,id be surprised, but its just 20.7 here just now at midday. Hardly heatwave territory.
  16. Met going for max of 27-28c in London area for remainder of week. Nought special or unusual in these parts to be honest. 19.3 at the minute. Media frenzy again. And train tracks buckling in the heat??? WTF
  17. Looks like normal summer fayre to be honest. South east of a line from Bristol to the Wash, pretty damn good, sunny and very warm, north and north-west of that line, very mediocre, damp and drizzly with the odd heavier burst I would imagine. Average summer weather, nought to get excited about.
  18. Have you been to church to pray for some rain for the allotment mate? B-) Hope so!
  19. That's why you don't see many from down here bleating on endlessly about heat, humidity etc.Bloody awful in London when it gets hot. No escaping it. Roll on September I say.
  20. Yes,usual the usual fayre, sunny spells and breezy. And no sign of any rain which will please most folk on here.We dont want to be getting wet now do we,might catch a chill.
  21. Rainwater is better for crops and much more environmentally friendly than using ground sourced water, especially here in the overcrowded south east. If the ground is too wet for you get some boots and get some hats for your pooches.
  22. Its a bit dull and dreary that's for sure and we certainly could do with some rain. Been at the allotment too, spuds doing well,it's dry but not as dry as I was expecting it to be. Some showers later in the week hopefully, with some sun aswell. Outlook looking a bit boring. Nought to get excited about either way. The 'azores high chase' is in full swing on the mod thread.
  23. Boring does'nt even come close. Still,no doubt someone will invite me to. 'bbq' later where I can feast myself on half cooked sausages and feast my eyes on hairy toes and flip flops!
