  1. Yeah clocked onto that before been looking about 5 miles East for an estimate of what should be falling here.
  2. Grass is starting to get that white colour, but can tell it will instantly lose it when snow loses intensity. Just need a solid moderate spell of snow.
  3. Let's hope the next lot from Wales maintains some intensity because the first one is struggling as it moves into England.
  4. Also starting to come down again here, no sign of settling yet, just need a bit more intensity.
  5. Not sure, Met Office simply not having it, confident of rain Thursday afternoon/evening, which is odd as according to FAX we are a good 100 miles north of the front tomorrow.
  6. ICON 12Z compared to 06z for Thursday. 0C isotherm pretty much exact same place at 6pm, -5C isotherm slightly further North. At 9pm they seem to drop South quicker than the 06z.
  7. I've also got the horizontal sniizzle. For what it's worth the met office app forecast is the best it's been so far. No rain symbols anymore, 8 hour sleet on Thursday afternoon, other than that all snow from now to Friday lunch time.
  8. Think I would just about be OK if reality matched the mean, but unfortunately the tightest cluster is on the milder side of the mean and the direction of movement has been North so far today.
  9. Yes the band in Southern Ireland is hopefully the snowmaker. Heavier and should hit us after sunset so much better chance of settling.
  10. A few flakes finally started blowing around here so just the 4 hours of continuous snow higher up to finally breach the dry surface layer.
  11. Doesn't sound too amazing for Thursday. Think as it stands we will have to settle for a period of rain Thursday afternoon/evening. Let's hope for further corrections south.
  12. Hoping you're right but both options have a lot of support still.
  13. Thing is though there's been a consistent link with the further north today is the further south tomorrow is.
  14. Met Office seem to always want to release their warnings at a set time in the morning no matter what, very inflexible.
  15. I thought there would be more agreement for tomorrow at least given the front had made landfall in the British Isles by the time the evening models got their data, but apparently not.
  16. 17 hours away... GFS thinks there will be nothing there on Wednesday and rain there on Thursday. Harmonie thinks there will be snow there in both cases. Shambles.
