  1. And I'm really doubting the predicted maximums tomorrow, especially with snow fields. Not a chance of 4c tomorrow, more like 1c.
  2. I really should not have woke up at 8am today, 3 agonising hours of being in phantom snowfall on the radar yet it's only now that I'm allegedly in bright yellow echoes that light snow has started. Please just go right today, I'm tired of the near misses.
  3. Definitely further east but not sure about further North or South, so don't know what impact this has on us other than it arriving a few hours earlier.
  4. Yep too far east Wednesday night, too far north yesterday, too far south and then north today. Getting very boring.
  5. All rain here, don't know what's going on this winter, the further South and West someone is the colder and snowier it is, complete opposite land.
  6. Wouldn't be surprised if a more organised band forms like in 2019.
  7. Did BBC not learn their lesson after the "cold and dry spell" the week after Christmas? Will never understand why they so confidently say it will be dry. As long as low pressure is so close troughs and showers will always pop up.
  8. Just about in Sunday's warning area, but not happy as these always correct South. Anywhere above Birmingham is at risk of missing out imo.
  9. Lmao just as it turns to snow, the gap appears and heads straight for me. This winter can fck right off.
  10. Seeing some flakes now but what's the point, the band will have gone past in 10 minutes, 10 miles too far east for the 5th time this winter.
  11. Still hasn't turned and band rapidly weakening. Cannot believe the difference in snow this year between here and places 10 miles west of me every single time.
  12. Why is the sleet line not moving further East on netweather radar...
  13. Now snow for you yet? Would think Stafford would follow Stoke quickly.
  14. Squall has arrived, torrential rain right now.
  15. Snowing in Runcorn according to Northwest thread BBC forecast for right now in Runcorn is 5c and rain.
  16. I had completely forgot about the event today, just noticed it's snowing now!
  17. I'm more concerned about snow not settling because of nothing falling from the clouds.
  18. I swear this front is about 100 miles East of where it should be? Doesn't matter if it cools down now as I'm already west of the band and it keeps going East.
  19. Regional BBC presenter didn't even mention the word snow for tomorrow, looks like she's a mild ramper.
  20. Fair enough, the most recent one in my memory is boxing day 14. Rain all day then after sunset it turned to snow and easily settled.
  21. Would love a nice surprise for snow to start before sunrise tomorrow. Don't like the fact that the forecast is for it to turn to snow midday, worst time for something like that to happen.
  22. Same here 3C, half an hour drive away from 10C.
