    Bring back the easterlies. Anything around the south west wind direction means it will be crappy humid heavy oppressive sweaty rubbish. As I said I cant stand these SW dominated summers, its always so humid. yuukkkkk...

    What storms.??? Couple of heavy drops of rain around 7 ish, nice night, no idea what any ones on about lol....

    You mean like June and the first part of July. The sea front grass parks are like deserts as are many peoples gardens. Models have promised reasonable amounts of rain and the heavens must be in dispute with the models.

    I just hope the models are right with a more north westerly flow. Constent south west humid forecasts need to be remodeled to fresh clear north westerlies. I just hope that they will be right for once.

    Also how far down % wise on rainfall so far this summer, it seems it never rains any more even when for casted.

    Ok Thanks BW. What happened to lovely summer days with nice sea breezes. I cant stand these sw dominated summers with excessive humidity. Even though temps are well up, the weather is supressing sea breezes. At this rate roll on autumn, this weather drains the hell out of you. This morning was horrendous.

    Just looked on the MO 5 dayer which aren't that good to be honest. Its amazing I have to hunt for any sort of sun symbol.

    Well cloudy morning. No rain as expected, just bit drizzle. So back to watering plants.

    25c here already as well. More high cloud around now to, at least there is a good breeze.

    Thank you, if I remember last year we had a big round cold area central Atlantic, this year the whole lot is colder with an extra warm bit to the west of Greenland. Do the models ever factor in large anomalies of colder/warmer waters.

    Thats a very large % of the Atlantic below average. Is there any reason for this and will it change quickly, also any effects on the coming autumn/winter.

    Much the same here, clear blue skies, not to humid either which is very nice. Is it me or are fridays really hot, Saturdays often as well but sundays rubbish over the last few weeks.

    Great we miss the night rain and now a ruined sunday again. Pouring here already earlier than expected. Dark as anything, no storms just poxy rain on a sunday. So depressing. Oh well at least I don't have to water the garden, but didn't get to pick the strawberries.

    Pretty nothing really here. Garden is still dry,had some lighting, it didnt wake me up. Some rain but as said still have dry bit in garden. Thats also now twice we had storms and the next day has been horrific in humidity. MInd you 5 miles away was pretty good by all accounts. 22c and feeling like a sauna.

    Beautiful day. 20c, blue skies. Fresh easterly breeze. Perfect summers day.

    Lovely start and some what fresher for the time being. Rain tonight, must admit to lying on the lack of or little rain.

    Maybe this pattern and air mass just dont support storms. Now ask why, because its hot enough and humid enough, but something aint right for here and to be honest I cant even see us getting much rain sat am.

    Look at the MO radar chart and it looks well impressive but all the storms just vanish apart from possibly sliding up the east of kent, essex and suffolk.

    I have to say that today doesnt seem right for the forecast from day or so ago. Storms yes then no then yes. The supposed cold front moving eastwards doesnt seem to be happening.

    Just seen the MO updated radar for tomorrow. Seems to me that the rain/thunder chance for this corner has vanished. ???????????

    That and the cloud, it will rocket if we get clear bit now. So glad I dont live up anywhere near the city.
