    Should have measured last night really but thats the chance you take when you have not had 3-4 days of hard frosts before a snow event, the ground underneath is simply too warm and the melting is quicker than the accumulation. Stick me down for 0.5cm Tom, very poor effort in a strange old winter really! Not long for Spring now!

    Very showery here now which is a good sign, room goes dark then heavyish snow starts and then lightens up.

    Yep for 15 hours of almost constant snow a very dissapointing 1cm here and even now it is still snowing. Marginality close to the coast seems to have been our downfall - Snow events and hours of falling snow have been decent this year but accumulations have been shocking but thats the rub of the green with these types of frontal events. Bring back the convective easterlies I say! Well done to the Jackpot zones you have done really well and I know I have 7-8cm of snow just 10 miles to my west so all not lost!

    Radar starting to break up at the eastern end, and big pivot now starting to take place on the radar. Now have easterlies starting to appear at the eastern end of the estuary

    Yh was just about to say wait until the next few hours as that 1cm might be the equivalant of France giving us nil points in the Eurovision! Will measure up in the morning Tom as I am confident with these temps and dewpoints that it will be all white in the morning still

    Indeed it is, wow watching the Africa Nations Final and looked outside and grass is now white, another one off the checklist!

    Got to say that is one impressive radar, anyone who holds onto Snow all the way through it going to see some impressive totals I would have thought House Roofs = Check Cars = Check Shrubs = Nope Roads = Nope Grass = Nope Getting there slowly and has been quite heavy now for an hour or so And those all important snow indicators look very nice now Temp 0.4c Dewp -0.6c Lovely Dewpoint heading south!
